FROM PRINCIPLE TO PRACTICE
OUR SERVICES
Our method comes to life through training and courses designed to create understanding, communication, and lasting partnership between horse and human.
“Where knowledge becomes practice, and practice becomes partnership.”
TRAINING • EDUCATION • HORSEMANSHIP
Beyond Discipline. Back to the Horse.
Different disciplines. Different equipment. The same horse.
The principles of communication, timing, feel, intention, and confidence remain the same. Our approach can be applied across disciplines because it is built around the horse, not the style of riding.
training
Young Horse Training
We meet each young horse where it is, building a solid foundation from first handling and groundwork through saddling and the first rides. For horses too young to ride, we develop their education through groundwork, ground-driving, and pulling. The goal is a confident horse that understands, rather than simply complies.
When Things Have Gone Wrong
Re-Schooling
Some horses have had a difficult beginning. They may have developed dangerous or defensive behaviors, or simply learned that fighting, running, or shutting down is the best way to cope. Others have already been through several training attempts without finding a lasting solution. Through careful groundwork, clear communication, correct timing, and a methodical approach, we work to understand the source of the behavior and rebuild the horse’s confidence and trust. The objective is not to suppress a problem, but to change the horse’s understanding so that it has a better answer.

BEYOND THE FAMILIAR
Practical & Confidence Training
Not every horse has a problem. Some are well trained in familiar environments, but their owners want more from the partnership. A horse that is calm in an arena may react very differently when faced with traffic, obstacles, open spaces, strange horses, or unexpected situations. We help prepare horses for the real world, trail work, outdoor environments, obstacles, and the many things a horse may encounter beyond the familiar. The goal is a horse that can think, listen, and remain composed when the environment changes
education: Clinics & Courses
Learn to Speak the Horse’s Language
Training the horse is only part of the picture. True horsemanship begins when the person learns to understand what the horse is communicating and how their own timing, intention, balance, energy, and actions affect the horse. Our clinics and courses are designed for people who want to develop that understanding and take responsibility for their own horsemanship. Our courses are not built around quick fixes or a formula that works for every horse and rider. We take the time needed to establish understanding, feel, timing, and communication.
DEVELOP YOUR HORSEMANSHIP
1. Foundation Course
2 Full Days A practical introduction to the foundations of Forsmanship. We explore horse psychology, communication, pressure and release, timing, energy and intention, groundwork, and the principles that create a calm and willing partnership. The course combines theory with practical work, so participants experience the principles rather than simply hear about them. Ideal for those who want to understand the foundation before moving further.
2. Continuation Course
2 Full Days. For those who have established the foundations and are ready to develop them further. We work from where you and your horse currently stand, refining groundwork, improving timing and feel, developing responsiveness, or taking the principles into ridden work. The objective is not simply to add more techniques, but to make communication clearer, lighter, and more consistent.
3. Practical Forsmanship
1 Day. This course takes the principles into obstacles, uneven terrain, outdoor environments, and situations that require the horse and handler to think rather than simply follow a routine. We work on confidence, composure, communication, and adaptability, helping both horse and human become more prepared for the unexpected. The goal is not a horse that has seen everything. It is a horse that knows how to think and respond when it sees something new.
PRIVATE & ON-SITE
Bringing Forsmanship to You
When your horse, your situation, or your goals require a more personal approach, we come to you, with training and education built around the horse in its own environment, or for those who want to go deeper, we offer full-immersion courses at our facility.

On-Site Problem Solving
At your facility. Some problems cannot be solved in an arena and sometimes the problem is simply getting the horse out of the stall. We come to you and work with the horse in the environment where the difficulty actually occurs. Whether a horse cannot be caught, will not load, becomes aggressive, refuses to leave the stall, or has become difficult or unsafe to handle, we work to understand what is behind the behavior and establish a clear, practical way forward. The goal is not to overpower the horse but to give you the tools to communicate clearly with your horse, so you and your horse can be problem free for the rest of his life. Change the response. Keep the relationship.
private training & full immersion
Public clinics are not the only way to work with us. Private training and multi day immersion programs are available throughout the year for owners who want more individual attention and a program built around their particular horse and goals. We can work with groundwork, ridden work, behavioral challenges, confidence, practical outdoor training, or any of the core principles of Forsmanship. Whether you come for a series of day sessions or stay on-site, the focus remains the same: Give the horse the time it needs. Give the human the understanding they need. Build something that lasts

Host a Clinic
Bring Forsmanship to Your Facility
Forsmanship clinics can be hosted at private yards, equestrian centers, breeding operations, and other suitable facilities. We work with hosts to create clinics around the needs of their horses, riders, and community, from focused horsemanship workshops to practical, hands-on training.
ways to Host

01 – Private Group Clinics
Bring together a group of riders, horse owners, or clients for an intensive clinic focused on practical horsemanship. Clinics can be adapted to different disciplines and levels, while keeping the core principles of Forsmanship at the centre: timing, feel, confidence, and clear understanding between horse and human.

02 – Open Clinics & Educational Seminars
Invite your wider equestrian community to experience Forsmanship. These events can combine demonstrations, practical instruction, rider participation, and opportunities for auditors to learn by watching the work unfold.

03 – Custom Workshops
Some facilities have a specific need or group they want to address. We can develop a workshop around a particular subject, from groundwork and young horse development to problem solving, confidence work, practical environmental training, or developing safer and more adaptable horse.
we choose our hosts carefully
A good clinic starts with the right environment. We work with facilities that provide a safe setting for horses and participants, and that share our commitment to thoughtful, practical horsemanship.
If you would like to bring Forsmanship to your facility, get in touch and tell us about your location, your horses, and what you would like the clinic to achieve.
