The Full Foundation Clinic
This is the full, in-depth introduction to Forsmanship, the complete foundation of our psychology-based method and recommended for in depth learning. Held exclusively at our farm with on-site accommodations.
The clinic spans two weekends, 6 full days total, generally from 9:00 to 18:00
Week 1 (Friday–Sunday): 3 days of intensive theory, deep exploration of horse psychology, human leadership, clear communication, trust building, and the right mental attitude. Participants are challenged to examine their own behaviors, energy, and mindset, because who you are determines how your horse responds.
Week 2 (Friday–Sunday): 3 days of hands-on practice, demonstrations, supervised exercises, and individual guidance applying the theory to real horses.
Participants bring their own horse or work with ours. The extended format allows time for real understanding, repetition, and lasting change, covering groundwork, problem solving, confidence building, and, how to build it for a calm, safe, willing partnerships in full detail.
This is the most complete way to learn Forsmanship, ideal for riders, drivers, and handlers wanting thorough, long-term results that stay with the horse for life.
The Full Continuation Clinic Under Saddle & Advanced
This is the full, in-depth continuation to Forsmanship, the complete in the saddle foundation of our psychology-based method and recommended for in depth learning. Held exclusively at our farm with on-site accommodations. Limited number of horses for individual attention, but unlimited number of auditors.
The clinic spans two weekends, 6 full days total, generally from 9:00 to 18:00
Week 1 (Friday–Sunday): 3 days, Stefan demonstrates first, then participants ride and apply the principles, with a bit more focus on theory, covering aids (position, use, timing), how the horse learns under saddle, introduction to bitless riding, and driving.
Week 2 (Friday–Sunday): 3 days practice, Stefan demonstrates first, then participants ride and apply the principles.
This clinic builds on the Foundation, focusing on refined communication from the saddle creating calm, responsive, willing horses in all situations.
The Short Foundation Course The Short Continuation Course
These 3 day courses are a condensed version of our Full Foundation and Full Continuation programs, combining core elements of both groundwork and in the saddle work (for continuation course).
The format includes:
Half day of theory.
2½ days of practical demonstrations and guided exercises.
They offer a solid first experience of Forsmanship, introducing key principles of psychology, trust, clear communication, and humane techniques.
However, they cover the essentials in less depth than the full 6-day programs, which allow more time for individual attention and lasting change.
Forsmanship Camps Immersive Summer Experiences
In addition to our clinics & courses, we host Forsmanship Camps, intensive, immersive programs during the summer. These camps are open to everyone, riders of all levels, drivers, handlers, horse owners, or those new to Forsmanship, and run from several days to full weeks, depending on the program.
Camps are held at our farm, with on-site accommodations, and cover a complete range of topics in a supportive, group environment:
Species-appropriate horse care: daily handling, feeding, and management that respects the horse’s natural needs.
Foundation to advanced Forsmanship: groundwork, psychology, trust-building, clear communication, and under saddle work.
Technical maneuvers and all-around preparation: work in the riding arena on precise maneuvers to prepare horses for competition or to become reliable family trail horses.
Extreme riding and trail safety: negotiating difficult off-road terrain, building confidence on trails, teaching horses to stay calm on main roads or in challenging situations.
Driving: introducing or refining harness work for a truly versatile horse.
Camps combine theory, practical demonstrations, guided practice, and real-life application, creating calm, safe, all-around horses while deepening your understanding and partnership.
And they’re also a fun way to meet new friends, we live together during the camp, so it’s not just work but a lot of shared experiences, laughter, and lasting connections.
Whether a few days or a full week, camps are a unique opportunity to live and breathe Forsmanship in a community of like-minded riders.
